All About Me!

Hi, I'm Marina, the person behind this party blog.  I live in Burlington, Canada with my husband and 3 adult children.  Our oldest daughter has special needs so I always try to keep things simple enough for her to help out when she wants to. 

I grew up surrounded by creativity.  My mom loved trying any new craft and she always encouraged me to learn through experience. She patiently let me destroy the kitchen planning pretend dinner parties and kindly fixed any of my knitting mistakes so I wouldn't get frustrated.  She was an amazing seamstress and bought me my first sewing machine when I was 14, which I still have and use.  

I started Crafted Celebrations to share my passion for parties and entertaining. I have always been fascinated with blogging and I subscribe to so many blogs that are my go to when I need some inspiration. I hope this blog can be that for you.
